Foreign non-governmental aids in Dak Lak province
n the first nine months of 2017, the mobilization of foreign non-governmental aid in Dak Lak province has achieved positive result. The province has approved and received 06 new grants in the fields of health, education and rural clean water from 05 donors including: Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, Dakman Vietnam Company and 03 non-governmental organizations including Marie Stopes International (UK), Save the Children (UK), Esperance (Switzerland). The total aid value is USD1.344 million, equal to 112% of the annual target of USD1.2 million.
The above-mentioned result shows the close guiding of the Party, authorities, the proactiveness of the provincial agencies and localities in cooperation with foreign donors. The Department of Foreign Affairs, the focal point for mobilizing foreign NGO aid of the province, has actively introduced and supported the provincial agencies and localities to receive aids.
In the fourth quarter of 2017, Dak Lak will continue to prioritize the aid mobilization for communes with high poverty rates, remote and socio-economic difficlult areas; focusing on the areas of health care, education, social sponsor, etc., by making the list of projects calling for foreign non-governmental aid with detailed demand in each field; mobilizing curent donors; approaching new non-governmental organizations to receive more aids ■
